Hostmonster cPanel hosting control panel

Hostmonster has been using cPanel control panel for many years. Back to the year 2007 when we first signup their shared hosting, they were using the “CPanel XP Evolution” version, by the time that was the most advanced version available. Right now, they are using the  latest cPanel version plus a custom made cPanel theme that integrated all the account manager tools inside.

Here are the new Hostmonster cPanel control panel looks like

Hostmonster cPanel demo

From this single control panel, user can now manage their websites, domains, SSL certificate, dedicated IP, billing profile, contact support and much more. It’s a very easy and simple to use control panel. We took less than 5 minutes to get familiar with the controls, icons, and menu navigation.

We found out that, at the control panel, the item/menu is grouped and well organized. We no need to go through one by one to look for what we want. A glance through the group title, and we know what it’s about. Looking the sub item is faster and easy to access. We think this is a good feature that is not available at other cPanel host.

They also support multiple languages in the control panel. And we can switch to other preferred languages through the drop down menu. This make their control panel more user-friendly and suitable for user from different nations.

How to login Hostmonster cPanel for the first time?
Go to Hostmonster homepage, click the client login link at the top right. Enter in your login name and password to your hosting plan. This will bring you to the control panel.

How to change Hostmonster cPanel login username and password?
It can be performed by user from within this control panel. At the page bottom, there is a change password link. Choose a new secure password and update it to your account. Once done, logout and relogin back to your account with the new password.
