On three months ago, i write a review article title “hostmonster support quality compromised”.. and it can be found here. After the month of poor service uptime that had been caused by massive server upgrading works by both bluehost and hostmonster servers. And this hostmonster hosted website had been effected as well.
Now, its 3 months after the server upgrade. What do we get?
Clearly from the recent 2 months of hostmonster uptime statistic and monitoring, it clearly shown that hostmonster uptime had reached above 99.9% and giving a very good server response time. The server is responding in 0.2 second in average.
Hostmonster support team had done a great job in bringing the servers back to running stat in short time. And delivering a better performance servers which is more reliable and giving better service uptime as well. The server hardware and software upgrade had proven itself.

HostMonster’s support is horrendous. The shut their customer service support down on Halloween in observance of the “holiday.” Even banks don’t close on Halloween. And you usually have to email back and forth with ticket support several times explaining to them IN DETAIL what they have to do in order to resolve the problem. I have no clue why they don’t allow clients to create their own CNAMES because their reps obviously have no clue. The sad thing is, I know several people who have all used HostMonster and had the same problem. I will be switching my service as soon as the hosting plan expires!
